Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 20, 2015 8:05 pm Just wanted to know for those that had timber on Hebel PowerFloor, what was the recommended installation process? I was told that as you cant screw or nail anything into the Hebel floor panels, for hardwood it requires a thick layer of plywood first to be laid, then the hardwood is glued and nailed to the plywood. How is the plywood secured to the Hebel floor? For the floating floors, its just a matter of laying it as normal. Is it worth going the hardwood? cheers 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6211 This is 100% true. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 8052 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15924 |
