Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jul 06, 2008 1:13 am Hi, anyone and everyone!
We are considering about 60sqm of Boral Silkwood 'Spotted Gum' for our new home. We have been quoted $121/sqm for the two strip fully installed (we had to downgrade from solid wood due to the $$$ ). Does this sound ok? I saw some prices quoted in an older thread from Phoenix however as those prices are now almost 12 months old (+we don't have *** in the ACT ) I was wondering if anyone had some more recent prices and how they compare with our quote. I've been given a quote for $128 /sm fully laid for the single strip Spotted Gum. Total size for my place is about 100 sm. Similar to your situation I think. Our supplier is long time established and has an excellent reputation so happy to go with them so long as the quote is competitive.
