You simply don't pay for something you did not receive/select. Re: Mcdonald jones flooring rebates almeria four 3May 27, 2022 4:01 pm What if flooring is included in the but I still want to get it done externally (more choices)? Re: Mcdonald jones flooring rebates almeria four 4May 27, 2022 11:15 pm nalmeida1269 What if flooring is included in the but I still want to get it done externally (more choices)? You must be building from the NOW series? I am building from Country Living so no flooring is included...... I do know a lot of the time if you remove something or choose a cheaper option, you don't necessarily receive a credit/refund. I suppose all you can do is ask your project coordinator, or sales person if you're not yet at Consolidated Tender stage. You can try this facebook group. It has so much information and topics. I've found it immensely helpful so far. The group is Building with MJH Re: Mcdonald jones flooring rebates almeria four 5May 27, 2022 11:16 pm nalmeida1269 What if flooring is included in the but I still want to get it done externally (more choices)? The design studios actually have a huge range of flooring options. The down side being they're usually at an upgraded price! Apparently you either receive no credit for not using the flooring package, or you can transfer the value of the flooring package to an allowance to use in the design studio. I'd say this is HIGHLY dependent on who you ask and how generous they are feeling on the day. As always makes sure all offers and agreements are IN WRITING. With MJH if it isn't in writing, it doesn't exist..... I will try and talk to them during my second studio appointment I guess. Hi AKG, We had a base tender of $592 for 31 squares from MC Donald Jones. It looks relatively cheaper than other builders. But I assume there are many hidden things that… 1 16854 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6218 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15930 |
