I'm thinking if you painted that the same as your skirting boards you'd barely notice it at all!!! H2B your sister's floor looks great - quite seamless! I went through the Prestige Homes in Mernda Villages today, they weren't in there. Have to be careful with the heights. For example, you can adjust the height of tiles but you can't adjust the carpet ones.
