Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 May 29, 2015 3:37 pm I am thinking of using the above product on my cypress pine boards. Does anyone have any good/bad reports http://www.feastwatson.com.au/consumer/ ... tails/1533 I was looking at the Parisian dove colour Re: Feast Watson Liming Floor finish 2May 29, 2015 9:16 pm My colleague is the sales rep. Never a problem with feast and watson just some people expect the 3 coats (required) to give the exact same result as the image on the tin. This is not the case wiht pine. Apply as many coast as you need to get the right colour, then finish it with this and nothing other than this!: http://www.dulux.com.au/specifier/produ ... oduct=2042 if you are DIYing, use a very short nap mohair (spend big $$$ on a good one) and don't attempt to use the applicator cloth untill the final clear coat of the Intergrain ultra clear. Do this, and you will have an everlasting amazing scandanavian look. Best of luck, if you have any issues, PM me, I work with this stuff! Re: Feast Watson Liming Floor finish 4May 30, 2015 10:15 am Those Cypress boards turned out very nice dolphinblu. I used to have the same in my old unit so I just sanded them back and put polyurethane over them but they ended up more of a honey brown colour. Your finish looks a lot better and they now look more like Baltic floorboards than Cypress and very Scandinavian. The extension is polished concrete and I really like where the two different floors meet.
