Although Chinese the supplier has stated they don't have issues with formaldehyde or delamination. If anyone has used Preference brand 4mm oak surface 190mm wide engineered floorboards very interested to know how they performed - and looked too. They will be going on an upper level, glued to the base board. --------------- Embelton G5 are putting out a new range of 3.5mm European oak engineered floorboards (moving away from their American oaks). If anyone has used the American oaks would also be interested into how it went, performed for you. These are our second choice. The difference in price between Embelton and Preference was about 5K - ouch.
