Hi
I have calculated we need 96.5sqm or 26.4 (27?) lineal metres/broadlooms for our build based on our house plan.
That includes a tolerance of 10%, is this too high? I just found that rec on a carpet website
Room dimensions
BED 1 4.2 x 3.8
BED 1 WIR 4.2 x 1.5
BED 2 3.8 x 3.8
BED 3 3.6 x 3.6 (hm did I use 3.8 here by mistake?
LIVING 6.6 x 5.55
What is a reasonable price (layed) for a decent quality carpet, not the plushest and nothing cheap.
Thinking solution dyed nylon or that corn blend stuff? I know.. dredging the Smartstrand up again..
I read on Choice that wool blend sometimes means its not as stain resistant and better to go with either wool or solution dyed nylon as the quality in the wool blends aren't as good. What do you think?
Can someone recommend a good quality product and underlay for bedroom/living rooms? Toying around with onlinecarpet.com.au
- good on stains
- soft underfeet
- suitable for a contemporary custom build home (with a baby!)
