Timber Tiles

Hello everyone,

My partner and I are building our first home. We have decided to go with timber tiles for our bathroom, ensuite (floor and wall to ceiling) and Laundry (floor and splash). We were quite shocked when we received the quote for the labour to lay the timber tiles.

Does anyone have any experience in tiling or what it cost them to lay their timber tiles?

Also any advice in relation to the timber tile look, it is a little bit risky but photos of it look great! We are having everything else completely white and the timber tile is a very light brown colour.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
