Lots of variation in pattern and colour. Mine aren't the best pics, and taken just laid and still dirty! Are you doing it yourself or builder? Who is your fooring supplier? I am thinking to have bamboo flooring but I have to do after hand over as builder will not do timber flooring... Bamboo planks are 14 mm + 2 mm under layer = 16 mm... What finished floor height should I ask my builder to keep before handover.. Really appreciate your response.. We did our flooring post handover through Pugh's Carpet Choice in Ashburton (Melbourne). I believe our planks are 14mm too (but don't quote me on it...it was 5 years ago!). The builder didn't do anything to alter the height of the FFL. We have tiles (through the builder) to wet areas and carpet in other areas (also done post handover) and there is barely a noticeable difference between the 3 different floor levels. All we did was get larger skirts than the builders standard, as we knew we would have part of them covered up from the quad surrounding the floor (more for aesthetic reasons!) It's an engineered timber flooring. Outback Brushbox. Thanks for the inputs. I'd be very wary of such a product.
