How will tassie oak floor boards come up after having tiles and a plaster sheet laid over the top in the kitchen. The house is from 1981. I am concerned that there will be a lot of nail holes and look bad. The alternative is to use a laminate in the living areas, kitchen and hall. This would be a shame to waste the oak floors and will cost more. What do you think?
