In the summer, we can expect days in excess of 40 degrees. It is mainly a dry heat but humidity has definitely increased In the area I am in - the temperature can get as low as -1 or -2 in the mornings in winter - but this is irregular. Winters can be quite wet but never any snow. Generally the temp in winter is about 17-19 degrees in the day. I use reverse cycle aircon a lot throughout the year. Thanks! Re: I work at Carpet Court - do you have a flooring question 437Apr 26, 2016 2:32 pm Hi Michelle, I am going to lay bamboo floor over concrete and in need to make floor level 30mm higher. The bamboo with underlay is 14+2 mm and 2-4 mm I can loose on connection line between tiles and bamboo floor. I still miss ~10 mm. What could be the best way to put floor higher? 1. Laydown some compressed wood 2. Same with fibrecement 3. Put lags and cover them with underlay (increased noise?) Any best practice advice? Thank you Re: I work at Carpet Court - do you have a flooring question 438Apr 26, 2016 6:09 pm Both E563 & DmitryKlymenko, I'm going to double check with the boys tomorrow about your questions, I don't want to give you the wrong advice, especially DmitryKlymenko, I'm not an installer so your question needs clarifying. E563....I would think you are OK, you would just need to make sure you have that 10mm allowance around the room for expansion and nothing less. But I'll double check. Talk to you both soon. http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu98/bellao4/homeonesig_2.jpg Email me for a quote to today - michelle@denovoconcepts.com Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: I work at Carpet Court - do you have a flooring question 439Apr 28, 2016 7:38 am Hi Michelle, I have just ordered Godfrey Hirst Zen Bamboo in Coffee, do you have any pictures of it laid? Now im not a huge fan of laminate due to looks and how it feels under foot. Just wanted your thoughts on whether it would be worth spending the extra $$$ to get engineered hardwood flooring installed. Thanks Thanks mate. Yeah good points!
