Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 May 12, 2014 8:11 pm Does anybody know how much supply/install would be for Bolero Europlank laminate flooring? [sneakersss] Re: Bolero Europlank cost? 3Jun 13, 2014 12:27 pm through your builder it's about $62 m/2 installed. You can get the exact same UTF Bolero online for about $49 installed but there are much better out there for the same price as the $62 or a little over and it will be a 12mm longboard not an 8mm standard length. Have a look at timber flooring king, ask for a sample they send huge ones out Re: Bolero Europlank cost? 4Jun 13, 2014 9:18 pm Thanks for the response, hitman. We've decided to go with engineered timber. So, a lot more but it's what we really love. [sneakersss] Re: Bolero Europlank cost? 6Jun 13, 2014 9:54 pm Going with the UTF Timber Top in Rocky Oak. Love the width of the boards! [sneakersss] Re: Bolero Europlank cost? 7Jun 13, 2014 10:58 pm Through Builder? You really should look in shops and see what's out there that isn't UTF. Not sure where you are but Carpet Court have a great range, Thomastown has loads and the staff are excellent. Also anything you find in store, Timber Flooring King can get you the exact same and will be a lot cheaper and can install too. I am not affiliated with any of these companies but have spent a lot of time researching this very topic Bolero Europlank cost? 8Jun 13, 2014 11:26 pm We've looked. And yes, been to our local carpet court. Was originally going to go with quick step palazzo then bamboo then went back to engineered after we saw the UTF with the builder. Is there something negative about UTF that I should know about? Feel free to PM me if you like. I'll look into timber flooring king for a price comparison. What flooring are you going with at your place? We are tossing up between a 12mm oak laminate or a vinyl plank only because we have a 3 yr old boy, a 7 month old girl and a 9 yr old Staffy so we want something that will stand up to then over the next few years then we will get something a bit more expensive. Same reason we are going a cat 1 carpet through builder, no one can touch them on price and when kids are older we can upgrade Re: Bolero Europlank cost? 10Jun 14, 2014 12:13 am You're right. We'll most likely save going through someone else other than H. We're dead set on the UTF one, though. And we want the convenience of the builder doing it. But if the flooring price at tender is a lot more than we budgeted for then we'll look at going somewhere else. I contacted UTF and they gave me contact details for a supplier/installer and I budgeted based on the price I was given. Anyway, I thought that perhaps there weren't many others who stock and supply the UTF stuff so was fine to go with builder. But if TFK can get it then it'll definitely be worth investigating the price. So, cheers for that info! Worth the drive even if your a little far because they have everything on display and you don't have to look at a 50cm sample it's about 4m2!
