Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 May 11, 2014 10:14 pm Hi All, Looking for some guidance on selecting a bamboo flooring provider/installer from people who have already done bamboo flooring or are doing the homework now. Based on the estimate I have received from the builder (Carlise Home)s it is a given, that getting it done by myself would be definitely at least 1-1.5k cheaper. So far I have seen Clever Bamboo, Embelton and ARC bamboo suppliers. I am planning on using the Coffee bamboo variety and the bamboo from all 3 suppliers look nearly the same and total prices (with installation and the necessary trims, expansion joints, acoustic underlay) is around $90/ sqm. Warranty is the same - around 25 years. Just recently I came across this shop Western Flooring - http://www.westernflooring.com.au/coffe ... ourne.html who seem to have much cheaper prices. It seems they supply their own bamboo (not one of the brands I have seen so far) and generally seem to have receive good feedback from previous customers. I was wondering if any one has installed from this store or have any advise based on their experience? Regards Anu 1000000% definitely add insulation.
