Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 28, 2014 6:17 pm Hi all you wonderful homeone forum people, We are currently building in Perth and have received 2 quotes for laying 65sqm of Travertine. I would like to know if anyone has experience with purchasing Travertine (or similar stone). Can you provide a recommendation on a supplier/installer? Also, some per metre costs would be useful. We have so far received costs of this nature: ~$50 psm for the tiles (450 x 450) ~ $90 psm for laying ~$15 psm for sealing (high grade) As with most things, I am looking for a quality product at a fair price. Any help would be much appreciated and welcome. Thanks in advance, Cat Our Family Home Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69221 Our Investment Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69588 Re: Travertine - recommendations for installers in Perth 2Jan 28, 2014 7:41 pm Hi we're using travertine foe our wall and floor tiling. We're getting this done through our builder so can't help regarding prices but we had to pay just over $2000 for upgrading to it. Good luck with getting prices Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! I never thought of getting it through the builder as we weren't getting any other flooring through them (except the wet areas). It will look lovely on the walls too... $2000 does sound cheap considering I'm looking about $10k for flooring the entry, lounge, dining and kitchen. Would definitely be a lot more if doing it for the whole house Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Ask for Marco and let him know Jarrod from Miteq told you to go and see him! Good guys with amazing work...don't know their prices though. Re: Travertine - recommendations for installers in Perth 6Feb 03, 2014 2:15 pm Ecostone do supply and install for around 130 all in. the installers are not on their payroll but trusted recommended by them. Normal range of travertine colours and sizes. They are in Osbourne park, I have no affiliation to them and they are on my short list. For supply and install by the same company you can try Bravvo in malaga, good bunch of guys as well. Very nice trav. Good luck Re: Travertine - recommendations for installers in Perth 7Feb 05, 2014 12:16 am Thanks kindly. I am currently waiting on a quote from Barefoot Tiles and Stone down Mandurah way.
