Otherwise I see there could be disappointment! Thanks Michelle for the input... Actually, one of the reasons why we finally decided to lay our own tiles to the Laundry and Powder room (only) is because we won't be having wall tiles there that would touch the floor tiles. For the Laundry, our wall tiles will be just above the benchtop area, and for the Powder, we only have border tiles surrounding the mirror. For the upper floor wet areas though (ensuite & bath), we might have those issues that's why we decided to go ahead with the CHOC HARMONY floor tile that we upgraded thru our builder. We won't be changing them anymore. The colour is great anyway. The only issue we have is for the ground floor, where we wanted to have one colour of floor tile only (as much as possible, though if we were not allowed to do it, we wouldn't mind it anyway). petal, that tile is available in rough texture that is meant for external use, such as in Alfresco. We're thinking of using it there... will check that tile this weekend. Quote: Our brick is AustralBricks Hawthorn - with the slimline ones to the whole front projection., and flush off-white mortar. So we do have the same bricks! I also love that slimline (50mm) version for the front.. but forgot to ask the price! Anyway, we love the colour of that brick whatever size it is... Geeee... 54sq! that's huge! Ours is only 42+ (the standard plan is 39 and because we moved the garage to make way for a mud room, it became 42+). Quote: I fell in love with the tile we're having for our ensuite - it looks like a cesaer stone-type tile, off white with silver/grey flecks. I didn't really want a tile that light elsewhere, though, so that's why we chose a different tile. We've gone with one called "wet cement", which is..umm..like wet cement, with a green tinge - love it! So, that's on laundry, powder and 3 boys' ensuites. The other is on our ensuite (600x600) and in our daughter's ensuite (300x600). They both complement each other, so I don't think it will look 'wrong'. In fact, our shower walls are 'wet cement' as well, so we're trying to use different tiles, but at the same time, keep a bit of consistency...if that makes sense! wow, sounds like your floor tiles look nice! can you post a photo of them? i like the idea of wet cement with a green tinge! i'm sure it looks lovely! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping!
