Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Mar 26, 2013 11:06 am we have just had a beautiful spotted gum solid timber floor laid. The quads have been put down, but they do not extend right to the edge of the doorways. They stop about 8-10cm before reaching the door. Our skirts and architraves are flush inn line with each other, so they would not have to work around doorway architraves that stick out. This all looks a bit odd to me. It just doesn't look finished. Should the quads extend right to the edge of the doorway opening? thx! Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15884 2 4657 3 5579 |
