This is our current bathroom floor. We will be selling this house in the next year or so and are trying to improve it without spending too much on it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ House was built in the late 60's/early 70's. There appears to be some sort of sealant over the grout...the yellowy/brown colour on the left side. It reminds me of varnish. Also on the right there is a black/grey colouring. It's very hard - almost like concrete. I've already regrouted some of the other floor tiles in the bathroom where the grout had worn away and tried using a grout colourant on the sections that look like this but it hasn't helped much. Any suggestions on how we can improve the appearance. Get professionals in to; Clean. (stripping of sealer may be required) Repair any grout if required. Grout color. Should come up really well. Ash. I don't know him, but this is the Aquamix applicator in your area. Suggest you get him to inspect & quote. Re: Another question for Ash 3Apr 17, 2008 11:46 pm Thanks Ash.
The name of the applicator didn't come up, but don't worry I googled it. We've used that company before for carpet cleaning I think.
