Slate

Hi,

We are renovating and adding an extra room that we will need to slate to match the rest of the house.

Does anybody in the western suburbs of Melbourne know of a good "slate shop"??

I have no idea what my slate is called - any ideas on how to find a name??

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,
Tania
I know of a good slate shop, but they are in Eltham , so not close to you.

Any good shop will come and have a look and try to match it for you.
Hi Tang,

You already have slate through the house, and like it.....fine.

With the new room, why not carpet it instead, so you can also enjoy the warmth, softness & other qualities of a quality carpeted floor. Also likely to be cheaper than slate, not as messy & time consuming for installation & sealing that slate would require. Also, no matter how well they match the slate, you will have a different looking floor with a newly sealed floor next to the existing one.

Ash.
