Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 11, 2013 7:37 am We are about to start our new home build in Brisbane and still to decide on a floor covering for the rumpus room (which can be closed off to rest of house). We have young children and I like the idea of carpet squares from a cleaning perspective (ie remove the stained square and clean it, not ruin a whole room of carpet). Does anyone have any experience with this type of floor covering in their home? Re: Carpet squares - rumpus room 2Jan 11, 2013 10:32 am We are currently renting and decided to use our garage as a toy room (until we build our own place as we don't have enough space here) so we put down carpet squares and it works really well. Like you said, we can just remove the one stained square and clean it. We also have spare carpet squares in case any get damaged. We did have to cut a few to fit the room perfectly but it also means that they don't move around.
