Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jan 10, 2013 1:48 am Hi.. we initially painted our bare concrete floor with Dulux Professional Premium Gloss enamel in order to keep the floor in a reasonably clean state until we were ready to install the timber flooring. We are now ready to lay the timber floor using direct stick however need advice as to whether the glue to be used will adhere the timber to the painted floor or do we need to sand the floor back to the bare concrete? Any advice most welcome! Re: New to laying Timber floor 2Jan 10, 2013 5:02 am I would suggest that you call your local Dulux centre and ask for the Reps number and contact them directly.
