We had approximately 100sqm of direct stick grey iron bark flooring installed in July.
It has been finished with polyurethane semi gloss and looks amazing.
The only downside is that my dogs lick their feet a bit and it's leaving marks on the floors. The installer of the floor advises that I should only use a damp microfibre mop using water only once a week but this isn't doing the job. The marks come off with a microfibre cloth dipped in some warm water and a tiny bit of dish detergent, but i'm not sure if this is safe/workable long term.
Does any one have any recommendations of hardwood floor cleaners that would suit? Something gentle that will not damage the coating, but will still remove the "snoot" marks?
I have emailed/called the installers a few times but have not gotten a response.
