Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 26, 2012 8:29 pm Hi Just wondering if anyone could give me an indication of how long we will need to stay off our timber floorboards (solid spotted gum) once they have been sanded and polished. As in how long until we can move in along with all the furniture. I don't really know the technical terms are but I believe we are using an oil based polish. Thanks in advance! They said after 48 hours you can walk on it in socks but give it a week before you put furniture on it.
