Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Aug 19, 2012 1:20 pm Ok first post after many weeks of stalking here!! Hubby and I are in the process of building and have decided on bamboo flooring but can't come to a decision on which colour between ARC Champagne or Coffee! Has anyone used either of these and has photos? I can find a few of coffee but NONE of the champagne. Alternatively does anyone have any of the Embelton colours laid? We only have access to these two brands in our town so must choose from either range. Any help at all would really be appreciated! Re: Arc Champagne or Coffee Bamboo Flooring? 2Aug 19, 2012 4:05 pm Ask your retailer to obtain a ctn of each from Premium Floors & lay them on the floor & live with them for a week or so. I did this recently for some Blackbutt flooring for a local builder & obtained a ctn of the Quickstep Colonial, Readyflor & Titan all in Blackbutt so the consumer could have the approx 2m2 of each clicked together on the floor & look at it everyday for a week or so to see what they preferred. I told them to treat it how they wanted & get a real life impression of what the end product will be like to live with. Maybe not an issue, but I have spent several hundred dollars & a favour or 2 over the years on obtaining free ctns that I have given to a customer only to have them possibly not appreciate the effort I went to & purchased this product elsewhere after my samples were very helpful in selecting the product. Re: Arc Champagne or Coffee Bamboo Flooring? 5Aug 23, 2012 12:10 pm well we are definitely buying from this store as they are only one of two in my town that sell bamboo flooring and the other guys aren't helpful at all so they def have our business! 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6302 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 16058 Hi there, I'm a conplete newbie to this, but I'm looking to put a floor down in my 6x9m shed.
