Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Aug 06, 2012 12:21 pm We are currently building a new home and getting laminate flooring for the whole house. I want the flooring to go under the skirting for the best look, but the builder is refusing to do it this way due to costs involved with getting the contractors to come back twice, extra time and care it takes to attach the skirting and paint it afterwards and also issues with gaps. There is nothing in writing on any contract which says how the laminate would be laid, I just assumed it's a new build so the laminate would go under the skirting. Does anyone have any advice regarding this, should I push this. TIA.
