Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jul 12, 2012 7:40 pm Hey just wondering if anyone has used this as a finished floor...I was just googling and came across a site that said it is usually used as a subfloor but can look great as a finished floor and is underrated as it is very durable and has great insulation properties etc. I haven't seen any laid so if any of you guys have pics to show please post them...it might start a new trend! When a person runs out of money on a build they can put a sealer over it and it kind of (with one eye closed) looks a bit like a cork floor..... It's still NQR as far as a finished floor goes though. So, yes, it can be done. Depends if you like the look, or not! They will eventually get 'proper' flooring, but kids kinda got in the way.
