We have a problem as to which direction the floorboards should go. The hallway is about 12 meters long and the entrance is about 8 meters long. The other rooms can accommodate either. Is it ok to change direction or be consistent with one way. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Realistically I think the floor layers will want to do whatever requires the least amount of cutting of the boards.
