Epoxy flooring

I'm looking at resurfacing my detached studio (once reno finishes and it stops being the storage shed), and the flecked epoxy flooring looked good, as it's seamless, oil resistant (I'll be servicing my bicycles in there) and hard wearing (may use as home gym or overflow entertainment area in rain).

Has anyone had experience with this type of flooring, good and bad? Was looking at the DIY DyMark system. May use it for our carport floor as well if it works.
In your experience, how long do they last for, and how do they usually fail?

For more exterior use (car port), how well do they work? And how non-slip is the surface?
Not a problem for me as it's a concrete slab.

Hebel Flooring PLUS Insulation or Not?

General Discussion

1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it

Engineered Timber Flooring Vs Solid Timber

General Discussion

Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity.
