Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Apr 19, 2012 9:57 pm We were able to find a tiler to remove our carpet in the lounge area and passageway ging to the bedrooms. Our entrance and dining /kitchen are all on tiles. The tiler mentioned that it will be better to put timber rather than tiles since it wont look good with tiles. Our area is too small that kitchen/dining and living area are open spaces. If we put timber the more it wont look good since wood on the other side, tiles on the other. Are there someone who has an open plan area that has tiles in them but of different styles/Color? I just couldnt picture in my mind what the effect will be if we put tiles that are different from the current tiles we have. THanks Re: Help on the type of tiles to use - PIX Pls! 2Apr 26, 2012 8:09 pm shannen22us We were able to find a tiler to remove our carpet in the lounge area and passageway ging to the bedrooms. THanks I agree with your tiler, I'd be looking at timber. 2 different tiles in one space will look wrong. Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17855 |
