Hi,
We are in the middle of some fairly major reno's at the moment and have hit a small hurdle. On the advice of our builder we removed some internal feature brick walls to make the living area more open plan. The area is great, but the gaps in the tiled floor are proving interesting to fix.

The house is 25+ years old and we have had no luck trying to find a similar tile to fill the gaps. We have had a look at mosaics and they seem hideously expensive. I have suggested to my wife that if we can't find a "close match" to try to hide the repair that we go for something completely different and try to make it a feature.
There is approximately 70sqm of tiled floor in this area so we are looking at a repair of $400-500 vs a complete re-tile of $4000-5000.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers
