Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 08, 2011 5:39 pm Hi I really need some help choosing carpet. I originally chose a quest carpet called liberty square in a colour called brick dust. I was really happy with my choice until I started calling around for quotes. A few retailers have told me they no longer deal with quest due to lack of service when warranty claims are made. Has anyone had any experience with this brand? Is there an equivalent looking carpet out there from a more recommended brand? Can anyone recommend a carpet dealer in Sydney. I'd really appreciate your help as Im hoping to move in before Xmas!!! Re: Quest Carpet 2Dec 13, 2011 9:06 pm Where do you build, Luckyme? I also just chose Quest carpet today, it was a Solution Dyed Nylon, called Rochford Dreamy. Not sure with the warranty though, if you got the carpet from your builder inclusion, they should warranty it for the next 7 yrs (std). Re: Quest Carpet 3Dec 15, 2011 7:41 pm I can say I have had to warranty a heavy weight wool berber from Quest & it was slightly difficult at the start to get it sorted, but a phone call to the right person sorted it out with full replacement of carpet. It would have become better as certain people that made my issue difficult have since moved on & I'm assured it will not be an issue now. The other side is your retailer can replace it if its a genuine problem & then have the arguement with Quest themselves with the customer happy & any problem sorted. Another thing is we can fix most problems up to $1000? without even contacting the Manufacturer & just replacing it then send them the bill.. 1 11004 1 15753 they can, it's a fairly standard solution when the slab isn't recessed. the falls need to be in the main floor, if it hasn't been done then you need to ask them to redo… 4 6581 |
