Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 05, 2011 8:45 pm Hi Guys, Hope you can help me out here - we are looking at replacing the carpet in the bedrooms (3) + hallway in the extremely close future (hallway perhaps floorboards - the rest of the house has hardwood floors on top of our base pine floor boards - pre us.) We have a small dog inside doesn't normally do anything inside, but occasionally our family members dogs do *sigh* On top of that we are just about to have our first child. The main bathroom and laundry are only accessable via this hallway. ATM we have been looking at the following Quest Evolution Tuftmaster St Helier Smartstrand IQ 50 Sensitex 6000 - Real Appeal I have been making sure that I have been getting figures based upon getting Prime or the thicker Foam, whatever is available at those locations. Heres the recommendations I am looking for 1 - Should I try and continue the hardwood for the hallway 2 - Recommendations for good locations in SE Melbourne 3 - Peoples opinions on those brands or something similar / better 4 - We are looking at various colours but if an expert can recommend for a situation where its off white walls, white gloss trims and doors, and brown-black furniture in the master room. We are looking at about 17-18.5 linear metres depending upon how we lay it. Thanks heaps in advance as I am still so focused on getting stuff ready for the baby too *~* Re: Could really use some advice - Carpet 3Jan 18, 2012 9:07 pm michaeld Hi Guys, Hope you can help me out here - we are looking at replacing the carpet in the bedrooms (3) + hallway in the extremely close future (hallway perhaps floorboards - the rest of the house has hardwood floors on top of our base pine floor boards - pre us.) It's very common now. The Smartstrand IQ150 covers you against pet urine and pet faeces under the warranty. Also, because it's made in America, and they have a larger market than here, there are hundreds and hundreds of colours to choose from, so you'll be sure to find a colour to match your chosen theme.
