And that's assuming a do it yourself job. 2nd hand/seconds might work fine, vinyl tiles would look good to it's all a question of how much you want to spend and what you can get. In retrospect I was considering how much it would cost to "hone" the concrete, polished concrete would be expensive but I think you can seal it fairly well a little cheaper than that without the pretty look... You could utilise a high-solids tinted or clear epoxy at a relatively cheap price point for a double garage. (Assuming you DIY). You're right, reading the MSDS of the kits sold at Bunnings shows they are a solvent based product. However they're using large quantities of solvent (Xylene) to thin the product and reduce the solids content. An interesting revelation to myself either way!
