We have recently installed the Semi Gloss Strand Woven Bamboo carbonized Middle colour for our new house with KLD flooring on1672 Dandenong Rd Clayton. Despite the initial excitement, we were very disappointed at completion time that certain pieces of the bamboo had a significant lighter shade in colour compared to the rest, especially in the living room.
Initially, the shop owner claimed that the Strand Woven Bamboo products are all natural and therefore it is expected that there will be color differences. However, after we showed them the photo of the colour difference, they said if we pay for the extra labour cost, they'll come and fix it.
I am pretty upset about the whole situation, as I think it is the shop owner/manufacturer's responsiblity to make sure that they sell quality products and install it properly. I understand that the bamboo products may differ slightly in colour, however it should not differ from one shade to another shade significantly lighter. Does anyone have any similar experiences before and may be able to provide some advice?
