I've heard that some people putty fill the holes first, then sand etc and other people have recommended sanding first, then filling the holes, than sanding again. Which way would you recommend? Fill all the nail holes ETC.... before sanding, then sand. Filling the gaps will create a nightmare down the track. Boards are designed to move a little, filling the gaps stops this and when they do move the filling starts to come out.
