Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Aug 05, 2011 10:19 pm I own an old cottage that has 4 (?) inch pine floor boards in the oldest section of the cottage and 3 (?) inch hardwood flooring in the newer section. I want to seal the boards without sanding the defects in the floor out - I like the variation in colours and chips and cracks. I also do not want any shine on the floor. Can anyone recommend a sealer, either commercial or home made.
