LOL I am purposely not having 1 tile in my house when we build!.... So what are you having in your bathrooms???? Re: TILE A WHOLE HOUSE 24Aug 02, 2011 2:27 pm We would never tile a whole house. And we wouldn't even consider buying such a house for any price, even if other things in the house are perfect. Also, like your son I can't believe someone is thinking about doing it. In my opinion tiles are excellent where they are supposed to be: in wet areas.. sometimes in halls and living areas, but that's it. Of cause we all have different tastes and you can do whatever you want with your house, but if you decide to sell later, you have to think twice about it I would imagine many people out there would not share the idea of having tiles in bedrooms. Also compare to carpets/laminate/timber floor, tiles are extremely difficult to replace/remove in future, so today these particular tiles may look modern, but in 10-15year time you (or future owner) WILL want to replace them, and it will be extremely expensive. just food for thought Re: TILE A WHOLE HOUSE 26Aug 02, 2011 3:21 pm trishcoastie mapcalla you are asking the wrong person here...
