Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jul 07, 2011 10:58 am My builder ordered way too many tiles for my bathroom but now is saying that he is going to only charge us for what was used but that he will take all of the tiles away. I would have thought that I should be left with some in case I need to replace any at somne stage in the future. Any thoughts? I have always been told to order more so that you can match them if needed in the future. When we built previously we were left 2-3 of each floor / wall / roof tile in case of breakages but no more. This time when we built we got to keep boxes and boxes of leftovers - but that was because our builder went broke and we sacked them. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Should builder take all tiles 6Jul 07, 2011 11:37 am We were left with a box or so of each, but they did make sure we were aware that if we found a cracked/damanged tile that they needed to come back and replace, that those were the tiles they were going to use, and they would expect that they would still be there if the situation did arise.
