Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jun 30, 2011 8:43 pm My floors have just been polished, finished on Friday last week. I've had a look tonight and I am noticing circular marks in various parts, particularly around the island bench. Also noticed uneven coating near the bench as well, not to mention 4 small circular chips taken out of my granite waterfall edge. Does anyone have any ideas about what these circular marks are, and if this is normal and if not how to get rid of it. thanks Re: circular marks on polished floors 2Jun 30, 2011 9:08 pm Could be from the hand sander (circular thingy), especially if they are located along walls and generally along the edges of the timber floor. They use this smaller machine because the main big machine can't get into the peripheral areas of the floor due to its size. I don't think they can be removed without some level of sanding My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... 2 3311 3 3534 Old Home Restoration / Renovation To reduce noise transfer without compromising the aesthetic of your exposed I beams, consider filling the 100mm gap between the I beams and the floor above with dense,… 6 7101 |
