The time has come to mop my new polished porcelain tiles. It was a fail.
How can I get my tiles to come up shiny and streak free?

Re: Mopping polished porcelain 3Jun 18, 2011 10:35 pm Enjo make a mop head especially for shiny floors. I use to have polished porcelain and would go over with a towel to get it streak free, but what a pain in the but. The enjo was brilliant. I'm sure some of the cheaper brands would make one too, just look for ones for glossy floors Re: Mopping polished porcelain 4Jun 21, 2011 8:28 am To stop streaking you have to use the correct cleaner, I fully recommend using a pH7 neutral cleaner you will find this at any cleaning supply shop, I love Supa Star from Research products or check out my How To page at www.groutperfect.net.au there is some great tips on how to maintain your tiled floors. Hope this helps. Re: Mopping polished porcelain 19Jun 28, 2011 8:38 pm Lex Can somebody post a pic of the enjo mop please? Anyway, I always thought the easiest way would be floor steamer. Looks like nobody uses it?? The guy from Beaumont tiles told me not to use a steam mop, he said it only moves dirt from one place to the other and choice mag, didn't give them a good write up either. I always mop my floors with boiling water from the kettle and metho, make sure you vac whole house first, if fluff or dirt on floor it goes straight into the grout. I sometimes add a drop of euculyptus oil.
