He said that is best to do it before so the carpet can be laid taught. If we put the skirting on after the carpet, we would get warping and ripples in the carpet from stretching along the edges. The tiled ares will be tacked on so we will need to fix after the tiles are down. Can't see how that could possible happen. But definitely fit skirtings before carpet. I need to replace some lengths of aluminum shower frame but I can't seem to find any suppliers of this stuff.
