What is your preference & if you have one how do you like it?
Loop pile seems more hard wearing. Cut pile looks so very nice but I'm concerned about furniture leaving flat spots on the carpet

Re: Loop or Cut pile carpet?? 4Mar 25, 2011 11:40 am Cut pile. Love love love it. Rented previously with a woollen sisal - hard as anything compared to our cut pile. Nicer for babies to crawl on LOL and softer for kids to wrestle on. Not too concerned about furniture leaving imprints. Pretty much our furniture stays where it is first placed! Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Loop or Cut pile carpet?? 5Mar 25, 2011 9:49 pm We went loop pile with kids and animals that live in the house, shop around and walk on all the samples with the correct underlay underneath this will give you a good idea of how it will feel.
