Hey handmick, I don't care if you link me to other threads Here are some picks of the bamboo floors I've had installed which is what handmick is also having. The colour is called Australiana, it's a combination of 3 colours. To me it looks alot like the natural variation of wooden floors. This colour has been around for a few years now by the supplier I used in Melbourne. And that includes a break in last week where my carpets and bamboo where covered in mud from one end of the house to the other. Bamboo cleaned up as good as new. The charcol coloured carpet didn't do quite as well This looks so fantastic!!! I would really like the same. Any idea of supplier/installers in Sydney? Nothing comes up when I google australiana bamboo...... Hi Nina Marie....the Austaliana is a beautiful product but a word of warning....the people who run the Bamboo timber select in Preston, Melbourne, have just done a runner to Sydney with $2.5K worth of bamboo decking we paid for, but not supplied....steer clear of any company that supplies bamboo flooring with Ken Atkinson or his daughter Mel Haverfield...... Not sure what the company is called... How can these people still trade when their bamboo flooring company in melbourne is in liquidation.... Also another warning...pay for big items with a credit card...you are insured...we found out the hard way.... Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15924 Staircases and sausages. From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2894 |
