Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Bamboo floor lifting - help 11Jan 26, 2011 12:15 am Thanks for all your responses. I got our floors fixed today. The owner even watched the installer the whole day from (8am - 6pm), so he was really great. They replaced most of the sides, but there are some sides that are lifting still, but we are waiting on the glue to dry first, then relooking at this. The owner said he will help fix this no matter what. He also said he will pay for the paint damage and if the installer can't fix this, he will pay for another installer of our choice to help fix it too. So all in all, it was great customer service. In the end we didnt get any nails put on the floor board to the concrete floor, they have glued the skirting boards only. The installer originally wanted to put nails down, but we were against this idea as not only could you see them, it wasn't the right thing to do. There isn't any moisture issues and I have only mopped the floor with a damp mop (with barely any water). The company said it may be due to the weather, but I think it is due to poor installation. But I'm happy with the company's response to the problem and they have acted promptly in fixing it without any issues.
