Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 29, 2010 2:12 pm Hi, Ours is 120sq.mt on the 1st floor on an MDF board. We preferred going for spotted gum hard wood timber. We were offered 90mm and a wider 120mm for the same price, say $78 supply installed in here in Sydney. Wondering if the price is a market one and how good if the timber width is 120mm than the 90mm one. Please advise. thanks Re: spotted gum timber & its width 2Dec 29, 2010 2:45 pm That sounds a good price provided the floor boards are select grade. If you don’t mind, can you give me the detail of the shop that is offering $78 supply and install per sqm. For appearance grading detail, you can browse below link http://www.timber.org.au/NTEP/menu.asp?id=88. Personally I like wider timber boards. You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 18565 Thanks again for this information.
