Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 13, 2010 8:55 pm Hi, I'm looking at putting in some laminate flooring this christmas break, and just wondering if people had tips with the following: 1) the front entrance has about 20 tiles that we want to remove, what's the best way to do that, just hammer and chisel it? 2) we are ripping up the carpet from the lounge and walkways, but leaving it in the bedrooms. What do i need to do to secure the carpet once i've cut along the door frames. is there anything i should look out for? thanks for your replies, this looks like a great forum!
