Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 17, 2010 1:04 pm Hello all. I am planning to get solid timber flooring for our new house. We ordered Boral 80x19mm NSW Spotted Gum with the local timber flooring company. However they called me today saying that they don't have Boral in stock now and could use Hurford instead. Everything will be the same except the supplier. Does anyone know about which is better between Boral and Hurford? The guy said Hurford was the largest timber flooring supplier, but I know little about the company nor the quality of their product. Any input will be highly appreciated!!! Re: Boral v.s. Hurford 2Dec 17, 2010 7:53 pm A quick call to the ATFA will tell you all you need to know. I don't do solids so can't help you. Have you googled the company ? Rang other flooring retailers ? All could be helpful. Re: Boral v.s. Hurford 3Dec 21, 2010 6:04 pm Hurfords is fine, I buy quite lot through them. Generally a little cheaper than Boral as well Cheers |
