Hi Guys,
Does any one knows the difference between 1,2 & 3 strips of timber floors? I mean apart from the price.... as single strip timber is the dearest!

The more the strips, the smaller the wood, the easier it is to source. ie side of tree, of cuts etc. So one tree can do alot more small timbers. Dont quote me, but thats my understanding. I took the question a different way. BUT….that’s information I didn’t know, and something I will be making a note of! Thanks for that, very informative! Per board that is laid on the floor – 1) 1 strip……1 board 2) 2 strip……1 board with what looks like two planks. 3) 3 strip…..1 board with what looks like 3 planks. Do you understand that? To me the best ones are the 1 plank and the 2 plank…..(strip) That’s how I took your question…..NOW….I might be wrong also!!!
