final decision time nearing
Ive now got the Quest fairways french toast which is very textured
as in this picture (7 yr warranty) looks very modern like it
and quest HORIZON (not dewsberry classique *eep* ) french toast
which is a lowish cut pile (10 yr warranty)
ash if Ive been paying attention youve been saying the cutpile is far
easier to keep looking good cos its all the same no lines patterns etc
(and I have stuffed up sisal carpet before..)
is that correct?
but is it bit old fashioned though ....hmm
also deeelle just to add to carpet confusion I got handed another carpet
very similar to french toast today if youre still looking called windsor carpets spinnaker bay portland (is bit darker) its a 100% wool cut pile.15yr warranty if youre still looking. argh

Sorry you're right ... Fairways is not a twist. Confusion reigns .
Carpet selections are the single most difficult and tedious thing I have ever had to do. Aside from curtains that is . Oh yeah ... and if we are talking tedious I really despise dishes, washing clothes and editing policy.
No more choices Bec. I'm happy with the Dewsberry.
I think that the twist pile is probably more classic, wont go out of fashion and looks good. I've changed my mind about the high/low carpets and think that plain and simple is better. IMHO .

will a 100% wool textured loop pile matt and fluff with vacuuming?
Are you referring to fibres shedding? ......yes, a bit in the beginning, but not a lot. However, its not possible to be definitive about this, as there are many different yarn and carpet specs, (each carpet can be different).
