wow, there is so much great info here!!!, this is my first post so here goes....
We have a 100 year old period style home, and was wondering if it is possible to remove flooring (in 4 rooms, all in the same area of the house) and box it up and pour a slab in there, still leaving all remaining stuff there, ie.stumps, bearers, joists ect. then have the floor polished??? can the concrete be poured over the timber and how thick does it have to be between the timber and the top of the floor? Hope that makes sense, Thanks Jim
