Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Sep 01, 2010 9:21 pm Hi I was thinking polished floors for the main trafic areas. Carpet the bedrooms. carpet shop guy suggested Diamond Tuff laminate. It looks good and he couldn't scratch it with a piece of metal (he said "I don't normally do this"- year right. I'm special). Anyway he says it's not much more than getting the floor sanded (special deal for me). I haven't priced sanding and polishing yet. AND he says it will look better longer (no re polishing in a few years). It says not to use in wet areas but I want it in the kitchen. Anyone used it? recommend it? Any experiences. Thanks. Can I ask what you would recommend? and advantages over just sand and polishing. I'd still like carpet in the bedrooms.
